Garage Bay Doors By Cryptik In Wynwood
Updated: Jun 26, 2018

There is something absolutely calming about meditative about Cryptik's artwork, it probably needs no explanation other than the visual for one to understand, repetitive, perfectly balanced, framed design that seems almost scientifically exact, text that you may or may not be able to read, much less might actually be text as opposed to simply free forming organic etchings - Arabic, possibly Sanskrit, or something altogether different.
As #StreetArt Cryptic explores not just the image itself and the movement it suggests, but also explores the meaning by way of placement and further framing of the piece, in this case garage bay doors in Wynwood, in another piece the full mandala is folded within the meeting point of two walls.
His official bio from the Wynwood Walls website begins by saying - "Cryptik started creating street art in 2008. His art is part of the Cryptik Movement which is dedicated to helping humanity evolve towards greater awareness and understanding through the use of compelling, iconic imagery that demands both scrutiny and reverie. The purpose of this movement is to facilitate the development of a deeper, more meaningful philosophy of life."
